the best way is to get a shampoo and conditioner that smooths your hair, try Sunsilk (the purple option), this will help with the straightening process, apply a straightening balm (you can also find this in the Sunsilk range), than when you hair about 80% naturally dry use a clip to put it up leaving a section about (5cm long) at the nap of your neck, using a round natural bristle brush and you hair drier facing down (to smooth the hair cuticle) start drying you hair section by section. when you whole head is done give you hair a blast of cool air from you drier and off you go.... Though out the day if you hair gets puffy apply a little bit of straightening balm, make sure to warm it up in the palm of you hands before you apply to the lengths of you hair. good luck.

p.s: if you own a hair straightener run that over after you blow dry for poker straight hair.

~Use a flat iron, ceramic is best. Make sure it has a comb on one side to that it straightens evenly. You can find these in the store by the curling irons.
It would also help to use "Biosilk Silk Therapy" on damp hair, it works great!~

There are straightening lotions out there that are pretty good. Or try combing hair continually while blowdrying on low.

the best hair straighter is a ghd but they are might expensive.
im pretty sure they are ceramic but unlike other straighters they dont burn your hair or leave it dry, they lock in the natural oils. ghd products are also expensive but keep your hair in top condition.
