I'm in high school, and it seems no matter what I eat, I'm always hungry in my first classes! First period today, my stomach growled quite loudly; very embarassing.

What do you all suggest? Please, as many suggestions as possible; I'm a bit picky in the morning. ;)

Eat fruit. Stay away from carbs. I swear to you I can eat apple slices with some peanut butter and go longer waiting for lunch than when I eat a sausage biscuit! Carbs are what's bad and they make you hungry quicker. If you have the time, a couple of scrambled eggs with cheese and mushrooms (takes 5 - 6 minutes), and microwave a couple of pieces of bacon (2 minutes) and this is really filling also. I wish I would of know this when I was in school because I had the same problem, and your right, it is embarassing.

I second the oatmeal suggestion. Many people don't like the taste or consistency of oatmeal, but it's a very healthy breakfast. It will also fill you up and give you energy until lunchtime. Get the Quaker Oats instant oatmeal (cinnamon and brown sugar is my favorite) and it takes less than 2 minutes to make in the microwave.

Muesli is a great breakfast food but if you have the time it is better to make your own than buy in packets. They usually have far too much sugar in them. Just mix up rolled oats & barley & wheat, throw in some dried fruit and nuts, whatever you like and enjoy. Should see you through to lunch time.

ok well you should probly try eating foods that dont have alot of sugar. maybe try high protien and higher carboydrated foods foods like eggs,toast, and bacon. or buiskets and gravy with eggs on the side. or if your in a hurry you could eat oat meal you can get the instant ones and have toast on the side. alot of ppl probly think gross oat meal but they make a variety of flavors so you will probly find one you like.

have a heavy breakfast, a good lunch and a light dinner. dont change your meal times
