where the rubber bands hold,I form bumps which are really painful.Is there like a cream or something I can put there which can prevent this from happening??

tell the person that is braiding your hair dont pull so tight she puts more tension on the back when she is doen with each braid!

Zinc ointment, like diaper rash cream is excellent. Try using covered rubber bands and loosen braids.

The braid is too tight right there...Make sure whoever does your braid doesn't pull so tight at the end where your hair ends and you shouldn't have that problem.

I dont have that problem my hair. Maybe you need a new person to braid your hair. They must be too tight at the scalp.

The bumps or any pain mean tha tyour hair is braided too tightly.

Don't wear rubber bands and the bumps will disappear
