this is a question for the pediatrician. There is a type of seizure where a person does not have a convulsion but stares into space blankly, usually for a few to several seconds. What you describe seems to be always at sleepytime, so maybe it's OK, but don't take chances. Ask the Dr.-- Bless you and baby.

The baby is perfectly fine. My son who is 11 months does that a lot. It is just that they are relaxing themselves to fall asleep.

They are probably just relaxing & listening to your voice. What else do they have to do,,lol. Its not like they are planning their day tomarrow ,,worried about work or what to cook for supper. If you are really that concerned,,ask the doc.

I would take her to the doctor for a chek-up if you are not sure. It's probably normal but it's always better to make sure.
