My father is a priest, but act with girls and hides it. Though he paid for my schooling and material possesions and is he old and told me he loved me, and that to be a better person without his mistakes. How should i treat him. My mother died by in nicaragua , by a machine gun wielding drunk that wanted to rape her, she fought and died. My father never hid that he sinned by having and sona and apoliged to the pope. What the heck do i act like. She i be a priest also , althought i like woman alot. If i become a priest , then I will not have kids a wife??

the fact that he acknowledged you is wonderful!!! you just treat him as a child should treat their father. you have a father you can communicate and bond with even trough the situation about your mother. he being your father can help heal the wounds from your mothers death and that can give you and he the opportunity to grow together. the fact he wants you to avoid the same mistakes he has done says a lot too. It shows he cares about you and you should never take that for granted.

Treat him like a father if you can but is there any reason that says he really need to become a Priest. I was always taught to follow my dreams. Good Luck!!! :)

sorry to say it, but your father is being a hypocrite. Do what you want to do though; it is your life. Though it a great sacrifice to devote your life to God, he is just as happy with you if you lead a good life as a good person. (even if it means having a wife and children)
this is my personal belief anyway ;)
