It is like tardive dyskinesis but not as severe. She is complaining of other stiffness and is getting some tics/ shakiness. Does it go away or what did you have done to treat it? Has been on risperadol for about 2 months and has had 2 Geodone shots to try and contgrol aynoing auditory hallucinations. Still has voices, now has side effects as well!

Sometimes a parkinson drug is used to alleviate this side effect.

A risk with tardive dyskenesia is that it doesn's always go away when the medication is stopped. I know you are saying it is less severe than that, and that's a good thing. If the meds are not helping the symptoms though, it may be best for the doctor to try a different one.

I would suggest stop taking the drugs.
