Today on the way to work. The air was so cold (rare in South Texas). The hue of the various clouds were various shades of blue and gray. Almost looked like it was painted. Clouds and sunlight rock.

Honestly after I lost my father 19 months ago from a very rare fatal brain disease. Afterward, I had no choice but to except it, I realized how "important" life was. I now take a deep breath and stop and realize my health and life are very important, and how much my family needs me. So my answer is everyday when I wake up I take a deep breath and and start my day with a positive attitude. And everything around me seems so much more important and appreciated! The beauty of life......... the smell of the flowers, the sky, the sound of the rain .....I never took notice until I realized how fast it can be taken away...... great question!

If I slowed down anymore I'd never get out of bed. However, it was only last night that I got out of bed inhaled deeply admired the scenery and dived right back into bed.;)

This evening. We are supposed to get a winter storm, so the last time I checked, I just stood there and looked at the snow swirling around the street light. That was a great question. We obviously don't do it often enough.

Today on my way to work, I looked at all the recent snow and how beautiful it looked up in the mountains too. Wow, lots of white!

I did this earlier when I was holding my daughter and looking out the window.
I tell you I should do this more often because I have so much to be thankful for!

Today, the bottom fell out of the weather, cold rainy windy, freezing rain and snow flurries. Love it.
