At what point do you get sick of your friends who are currently in relationships being cutesy and affectionate in public or when you are in a large group hanging out? Making out is is traditionally taboo, because no one wants to see you exchange saliva with your "pooky pie." But are you uncomfortable around hugging? Kisses on the cheek? Eye gazing? At what point are you sick of the PDA, no matter how PG it is?

I'm not talking about fake affection. I mean a display that's actually sincere, and they aren't actually thinking about it at the time. Any display of overly acted affection is undesired. What about your friends who don't realize how uncomfortable they are making you?

Alright, point: I'm not asking because I'm sick of overly affectionate friends. I'm afraid of BEING the overly affectionate friend. And my social circle is one where it would be akward to just out and ask them if we're making them uncomfortable. We attempt to keep our PDA simple, hugs and hands, but even then we're afraid of being a little too sappy sometimes.
