Every time I go on the computer, for homework, I end up getting distracted, and will waste a good 2 hours on the internet. I end up sleeping at 12 or 1 because I have to do my H.W. How can I better manage my time??

If you can, after school, go to a library or somewhere free from your home computer distractions (Games, IM, etc). You don't need that when you are trying to excell in school. Try taking a break before you do your homework so that you are not as easily distracted for being bored or tired when you sit down to do your homework. Also, take a 15-30 min break between each subject to give your mind a chance to retain that information and relax. that helps tpp. I have ADHD and trust me, I have had to work out some things to get me through college. That sounds like me.... I'm getting better though by trying to do all the things that I have to do first and then do whatever I want afterwards. Another thing that works for me is to try to spend a set amount of time on homework and then take a short break watching TV or playing on the computer or something and then going back to homework -- that way I don't get bored with doing one thing.

It's a lot more rewarding to do your HW first, then you don't feel bad about being on the computer doing other things and can go to bed when you want. If you're really having trouble staying focused I really wouldn't use the computer unless I absolutely have to, and then, I would make a point to find the info I need (if using the internet, if not, make a point not even to open your browser or log on messengers) until your finished with your HW.
