No. thats about the lowest thing you can do. email is bad too. trust me. if you dont want to see him face to face then you have to at least call him on the phone. if you dont want to hurt his feelings and you explain properly to him then it will work out a whole lot better in the end than if you just send him a text message.

No! That is extremely rude and disrespectful. I know it's tempting because it's so easy - but you have to swallow your fear and tell him face to face. It will make him angry and hurt his feelings even more if you do it by sms - it makes it seem like you don't even care enough about him to bother talking to him, and would probably make it appear that you didn't take your relationship seriously, and now that you're sick of it you're just casually dismissing him. Bite the bullet and talk to him - you won't feel as guilty and he'll hopefully get some closure and won't be as angry at you. Good luck, I feel your pain!

It depends on why your leaving if he warranted your leave then do what you gotta do. Find out what your reason for the break up is. Face to face paper, SMS instant messenger. He has it in writng so there is no doubts. Keep in mind you have to be serious about leaving him alone..Dont call him after you say its over...

You are going to hurt him no matter how u do it, but not doing it in person is cowardly. Don't let him read it in a letter. You need to sit him down and explain to him why u have to end it and at least give him the respect of being there for him to ask questions if he wants. He would find that very cold if u did it any other way. If u ever cared for him at all at least give him this.

girl do not break up by sms.
Mi boy brock up with me from text is brock my hart I would of loved him to tell me face to face I would of been upset but I would of felt a bit better so I think u should tell him dont be scared babe good luck!

I think it would hurt his feelings more to do it that way...He deserves a face to face break up...just be nice...but avoid the whole "lets be friends" line....they HATE that.

Well, if he actually cares for you, it will hurt him regardless.
Don't be a pu*sy and just tell him to his face...and if you can't do that, then at least call. Doing it over text is a lame way to end things...the " easy way out "
