I always get out of bed on the left side of the bed even though is it on the furthest side of the room. Rather than get out on the right and go right into the bathroom or to the kitchen, I will slide over to the other side of the bed (I sleep on the right side) and walk all the way around to get to the other side. I do this getting back into bed also.

I do when it's my own bed as it is pushed up against the wall, which I place on purpose against since I prefer to have my back facing it when I sleep. If I'm sleeping elsewhere than I generally get up on which ever side I'm closest too without obstruction.

I'd say everyone has a side they prefer to be on and get off of which is natural. I'd worry if it was something that you just could never do...but than again everyone is a but OCD about something or other.

I get up on the same side every day here at home and when I'm at my parents. It's always on the left side. I have to though. I have sleep apnea and wear a cpap which is a mask worn over the nose. It forces air into the lungs and keeps me breathing throughout the night. It has to be on the left side of me otherwise I'm extremely uncomfortable in every way.

depends on which bed I am sleeping in...

1- it doesn't apply because there is a wall

2- it doesn't apply because there is no way out on the other side...

so I guess, yeah, I'm always out on the same side of each bed, though I exit one on the left and one on the right.

(I live with friends during the week and at home for some weekends-it is complicated...)

Well, on one side of my bed is floor and on the other side is a wall and a window. So if I got out on the other side I would risk falling two stories to my death. So generally speaking I always choose the floor side. I'm just funny that way.

If I try to get up on the left side of the wall I will make a hole through the wall. Unless I want to make a hole in the wall, I will get up on the right side of the bed.

Yes I do the same. But in my case, I'm married so I share a bed, so I always sleep on the same side of the bed.

I get out of the side I sleep on, unless there's a cat between me and the edge, then I'll slide across the bed to the other side, unless there's another cat between me and that edge. At that point, it's time to move a cat!

Mmm, yes. but only because my bed is pushed up to one side of my room. I sleep on my own, in huge double bed.
I don't know, I suppose I'd get up on both sides if the bed wasn't up against a wall...

Almost always, but I will typically get out of bed on the other side if my phone rings in the morning.
