Spirituality is born from a personal occurrence with a divine, psychic or mystical experience of one form or another which inevitably connects a person to All that Is/God/Goddess/Allah/Great Spirit /whatever you want to call it.
Religion is second hand opinion of someone else’s divine experience. I think you will find that religions, and especially fanatical religions, tend to separate and divide people, while spirituality brings people together.
Thank God that Spirituality is on the increase!

If you believe in psychics I need to get me an 800 number and go into business. I need to write a few scripts and hire a few people and I am a millionaire from peoples gullibility. Anyone can believe in psychics, doesn't mean it is true. I will give you a psychic reading for free. You pay a psychic X amount of dollars for what you want to hear, they pocket it, you are out of your money, they have it and you still do not have your answers. There are no guarantees in life. NONE!! You play your part that you have and that is all. If you want money get an education, if you want love stop looking in bars and gutters. That is called common sense not psychic abilities. People prey on the weak minded. Those are the only ones that hunt psychics and others like them.

The Bible is very clear that psychics ('mediums' in the Bible) are just plain wrong.
For just a few examples see:
2 Kings 21:6
1 Chronicles 10:13
Isaiah 8:19

Catholic Church teaches:
God can reveal the future to his prophets or to other saints. Still, a sound Christian attitude consists in putting oneself confidently into the hands of Providence for whatever concerns the future, and giving up all unhealthy curiosity about it.
All forms of divination are to be rejected: recourse to Satan or demons, conjuring up the dead or other practices falsely supposed to "unveil" the future.
Consulting horoscopes, astrology, palm reading, interpretation of omens and lots, the phenomena of clairvoyance, and recourse to mediums all conceal a desire for power over time, history, and, in the last analysis, other human beings, as well as a wish to conciliate hidden powers.
They contradict the honor, respect, and loving fear that we owe to God alone.
With love in Christ.

Catholics can believe anything they choose but they should go be the rules if they are to consider themselves Catholics .
Pope John Paul thought evolution was acceptable but selling the faith is the primary cause of most religious group leaders .

They should'nt believe in pyshics, according to a strict word against it from God in His Word. But I guarentee you that alot of them are doing the opposite of God's Word. Alot of the catholics I know of are pyshics. And have these little stores on street corners here in San Antonio, Tx. Most catholics just pick and choose what scripture they will ignore in order to do what they think is okay. And alot of non catholics too.

Most Catholics are actually psychics themselves. They are very convinced that they know how God thinks. They talk with God.
God talks to them.
When you mention any event or tragedy, they will tell you what God had in mind.

Believe in whatever you want, but it won't make it true. No one has demonstrated actual psychic ability under controlled circumstances (i.e., when they were kept from cheating).

All practices of magic or sorcery, by which one attempts to tame occult powers, so as to place them at one's service and have a supernatural power over others-even if this were for the sake of restoring their health-are gravely contrary to the virtue of religion...... (Catechism 2117)
