I don't know about Singapore but my kids have done some modeling and we got started by sending some really nice candid pictures to several agencies in our area who handle children. We also joined some web services that list local casting calls. It's a start anyway.

Be prepared to do quite a bit of running around and getting rejected alot. It's not all glamor and fun. It's alot of disappointment and it is also tough if the kids aren't into it on a particular day. Their attitude can make or break an audition.

Good luck!

call and make enquires about those agencies. many of those are fakes, i went there before and almost got cheated. sometimes it's best to actually know someone who is a model itself and ask him for opinions. i sincerely do not think that modelling in singapore is that well-known. and ask urself whether can u manage to pin down a deal, or preferably a contract. most agencies would ask u to pay for the portfolio urself, and i find that ridiculous. just my opinion about it

Why do parents pass their sins to their children? I saw two young girls all dolled up for a Singapore TV series. Hair perfectly in place, with full makeup, pretending to enjoy their outhing. They felt so self consious. Even holding hands while walking together. So cute.. so kawai, so sad.... Most child actors are in really much older and better cope in handling the unreal world they are in. You are just giving your kid long term damage.

Please dont do that to your child! Have you ever heard of Mary Kate Olsen? Child models end up with drug addictions and eating disorders.
