In order to understand why these men did what they did you would need to understand Islam.
These men believed that their so called god was going to be pleased by all the lives they took and especially that they died martyrs for their faith. Their so called god will bless them in heaven with a lot of wifes or something like that.
But as an American Christian I know that they were wrong!

I am not an Atheist, and I wholeheartedly believe in God. That being said, I think people of all religions have done strange and terrible things attempting to garner the favor of God. 9/11 is only one example. The Crusades and the Inquisition are other examples. God is something we cannot understand, though religion tries hard to make sense of It and science is busily trying to disprove Its existence. Some believe (as I do), while others choose not to, and still others want to believe in something, but have given up. It's all a matter of where you are in your life. Some people cannot believe without proof, while others, like myself, believe the very existence of humans indicates some otherwise unexplained phenomenon. I hope you find your way to a way of thought which makes you feel satisfied.

Are you saying that you believe the conspiracy theory that 19 Arabs hijacked a few planes in 11th September 2001 and flew them into their targets with high accuracy?
As for "Do you think the men who took those planes over praised their God?"
You got to prove first that conspiracy theory.
Anyway. If it is true, then they don't over praised it. To each, his/her own religion.
As for "what has happened to the believe in God"
'The believe in God' has been always continously under attack, and what happened in 11th September 2001 is just one of those attacks.

it really is a sparkling party of what occurs at the same time as mankind thinks they're doing "Gods" will. Many wars were fought in the call of God, and function in straight forward words succeeded in making the hatred and branch that already exists better intense. constructive someone wins the conflict until eventually the tensions construct to a boiling element back. To undesirable the human race hasn't discovered better through now.

I don't believe that these people were the ones who caused the collapse of the WTC. Try this link http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/wtc_9-11_index.html
This explains what really happened in the incident, and proof that the incident was a scam. To me this incident was intended to start a war on Islam and the so-called 'terrorists'. Visit the website and know the truth.

The same reason why the Crusaders in the medieval times pillaged and plundered massive cultures and took them for slaves all in the name of God.
The same reason the Native American lands were to be "claimed" as God's promised gift to the people who landed on its shores.
God is not the reason... the REAL reason is Greed, Power and Status by the people on top of the heirachy and blind faith by the people at the bottom of the Power Pyramid

Yes, but which 'God' are you referring to?
The word 'God' is merely a title,as is 'Lord'
The Bible even refers to Satan as the"god of this system of things"(2cor.4:4).
There is however, one true God.And the Bible tells us his name is Jehovah.(Ps.83:18)Jehovah would take no pleasure in what you have mentioned. But Satan would. And it is because "the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one"(1John5:19)namely,Satan that the state of the world is as such. The Bible refers to the period of time we are living in as "the last days".Very soon now,Jehovah God will take steps to rid the earth of all wickedness and those who stand in opposition to Him.And he will restore the peace and harmony that once existed on earth.(Rev.21:3,4;Ps37:9-11,29)

Nothing happened to my belief in my God.
I'm glad I don't believe in their god or even know what it is.
Any god that made people bombed themselves and civilians is sick in the head and I don't want to spend my time praising it.
Too bad these people have to do this to prove their beliefs, I would imagine donating to the missions is easier.

In my opinion, they think they were doing God's work in the version of Islam that they believe in. If someone has been indoctrinated since childhood to believe in something, no matter how strange or contradictory it is, that person will be ingrained with that belief throughout his or her life. So to answer your question, I think they did it because they were taught that way since a very young age, and to stop that you would have to stop the source of those teachings.

Um, because it was the Will of God.
Your God!
Nothing happens unless your God will it.
Not so much as one sparrows fall.
It is because, as two of your most famous preachers said, Your God is Punishing you for allowing Gays to come out of the closet.
