I'm not sure because my water had to be broken after 8 hours of labor but the back pain may be back labor.Call your doctor immediately because even if you aren't in labor you may be leaking amniotic fluid and you don't want to have a dry birth...trust me!very painful I'm told!good luck and congrats!

It's possible..... Give it a bit of time if your water has broken you will continue to leak... Give it an hour or 2.... If you still feel your water has broken yet nothing spectacular has happened (contractions, huge gush of fluid etc.) go to the hospital they have a simple litmus paper test that can determine whether or not your water has really broken or not...
While you don't want to rush to the hospital at moment one you also don't want to wait hours and hours and hours before going in if you suspect your water has broken...
Get a sanitary pad (overnight pad is the best) and wear it it your water is leaking slowly the pad will keep your clothes dry for the trip.... If its a huge rupture not even Hoover Dam would help... Also place a plastic trash bag covered in an absorbant towel on car seat for the trip make sure the bag and towel go up the back a few inches to save the upolstery should you have a flood there...
It could also bee the baby moving around a bit adding extra pressure to your bladder mild incontinance is not uncommon in the last few weeks of pregnancy... There is only so much room in there and sometimes something has to give...

Yep! That's basically what happened to me. You need to call the doctor and go to the hospital. The baby may not be out for a while, still, but they want you in the hospital. Good luck and congratulations!

It's possible it was remaining urine in your bladder. Check by scent if it is.
However, unlike the movies portray, when your 'water breaks' it is not a giant splash on the floor. It's really very little so I would seriously consider going to the hospital now.
Or in the least, call your doctor or midwife.
During all three of my sisters pregnancies, when her water broke, she hardly even felt it, there was so very little water.
That sounds exactly like what you just described!
If it is the beginnings of birth, CONGRATULATIONS and stay calm :)

yes, there shouldn't be anything else gushing out. it doesn't have to come all at once, the fluid can come in small amounts for quite a while. call your doctor and they'll tell you to go to the hospital and get checked out.

i think you might have a tear in your water sack. the baby is probable moving around and moving the bag cousing it to leak. due to your bag. it might have a small pine hole. you should call or even go down to the docters to have this checked out. this could be a seriouse problem!!!!!!! i know from experiance. they might need to force eirly labor.

It may be your water. Wait until contractions are started and 5 minutes apart before calling your doc/midwife or going to the hospital/birthing centre. Monitor your temperature if it goes up more than a degree go to the labour and delivery ward.
Oh and if you are not using a midwife, LIE about your water breaking. Otherwise you have 24 hours before a c-section.

your water could be breaking in spurts normaly when your water fully breaks it will be in a huge gush that can wet like 20 pads. And it will be constant until you give brith just about. So i would call the doctor on call and see what he/she wants you to do. They might want you to go to the hospital to labor and delivery
