Like lets say you are in the military full time and make 30k per year. If you decide to go on reserve how much would you make?

First, you can't just decide to go on reserve. Once your active enlistment is up, you can then enlist to serve in the reserves. Reserve pay is dependent upon the number of drills you take part in. If you are making 30k a year, you would have to be at least the rank of Sergeant (E-5) and have spent 8 years or more in the service. The same grade and time in service would net you about $330 for a weekend's worth of drill before taxes.

well you work one weekend a month... which is 3 days... fri. sat. and sun... and also the 2 full weeks a year for annual training. here is a chart.
