I can not have the guy I love. I am a college student and he is a staff member. I am head over heels in love with him, but he said he had to remain professional at all times, this really hurt me. I would do anything for him, I would drop out of college or whatever just to be with him. I am so so sad, I dont know what to do.

Talk to him, and maybe you and him could talk to his supervisor or boss. Perhaps you could work out an arrangement where you can not show emotion around others, but when ya'll are away from everyone, it will be fine to date or whatever.

You won't like this answer but ... well pretty much the whole thing could get you expelled and him fired or possibly even barred from teaching if he is a teacher.
If you both feel very strongly about the situation one of you has to change, one of you should change institutions.
After a few nationally infamous incidents of teachers sleeping with students, that stuff is strictly prohibited by schools and even the suspicion of that kind of behavior - even if he's not initiating it could be grounds for termination.
It's seriously taboo stuff these days.
There was a student I knew at my school who basically harassed a teacher to the point where he had to record all his conversations with her and have a second person with him if they were talking.
You are young, leave it be. Go find someone else who's not already in a compromised position.

Please don't drop out of college. If you would do anything for him, then you will wait until you are out of college before you even think about trying to do anything. Don't ruin his career or anything. Just, try to have fun. You are in COLLEGE. There are plenty of nice, smart, cute, guys. God has a plan for you. Trust Him.

lets say he is rasional and you r emotional. what's the use if you drop out of school for a guy dosen care about you? may b you r not his type and don pretend you like one . you will find a guy who really care for you but sorry not this one .

UGH! Sounds like he let you down easy- it is so common for students to fall for their instructors etc- counselors, pastors, bosses and such- he is not interested- and is safe not being interested- pick up your heart and take it back- comfort and protect it-take care-D

Finish college, then you can approach him again. He could be fired or even lose his teaching license if he dates you.
