Since then I was ok I was happy but then I started to feel pain again I don't feel anything anymore . Im never happy im never sad I sometimes want to die . I know I believe in god but I don't feel like I do . I don't know what to do I know what I believe in I want to go to heaven but I find it difficult to pray lately . I wish I could feel something I want to cut myself to see if I still feel . What should I do ?

First off, I think you should go and talk with someone. A leader in your church, someone from a group, your friends, someone who will just listen to you. If you don't want to actively seek out someone, you can pick up the phone and call many of the free lines out there, as they have very caring people on the other end of the phone that can help you out.

You sound like you are suffering from a severe depressive episode, and I think your best course of action would be to talk with someone who can help you through this.

I hope you do the right thing and help yourself out. Don't hurt yourself; you still feel emotion and pain otherwise you wouldn't be asking this question right now.

First I would like to say some thing before we go any further. IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT THE WAY YOU ARE FEELING. Without going into a big long speech about this let me say to you that it just boils down to one thing. For some reason your brain is not receiving the right signals. There are many chemicals that keep the brain running smoothly and when one of them is not working right you end up with the feelings you are now experiencing. If you can't see right you go to the optometrist and have your eyes checked, right?. If you break a arm you go and have it set, right If your are not feeling yourself then you go to your doctor and explain what is going on and they can refer you to the proper person to help you out, right. If you can not afford a doctor then get a hold of the dept of human resources. In the phone book go to the state you live in. For instance,"Michigan" under that you will see many phone numbers for various state agency's. Look for "dept of human resources." They act very quickly in cases like yours. You will be given a appointment if you feel you can wait that long, if you need help immediately tell them that and you will be taken care of . Trust me on this ,they are there to help you and you will not brushed off. Good luck and hang in there until you get help and in no time at all you will be the real you again.

Well, being a christian then you probably know to pray about it? I myself am bipolar and have ADD and am a Christian. So i too suffer from alot of anxiety so i do know alot of how you feel. Are you on meds for it? It seems you have alot of conflicting in what you said here. You at first said you are a devout Christian then you said you know you believe in God but don't feel like you do? Also you said that you started to feel pain again but then said you want to cut yourself to feel? You are in need of someone to talk to you or to go be with family or friends or to a church. Please take care and my prayers also go with you there is alot of people including me in your shoes. Take care

talk to a family doctor you sound like you are suffering from severe depression. Your doctor can then suggest a therapist to talk to. There is no shame in this. I understand you are very religious but this does not mean you are weakminded. This is an illness like any other. But the fact that you were cutting, you need to get help. I am not judging you. I myself suffer from depression and anxiety. I had to go on meds for a time then went off but now I just talk to a therapist. You can conquer this! If you were told you had cancer you would get help and fight it, do the same for your mental health! Take care :)

alright u described my life for three years now except im atheist.

trust me, dont cut to see if ur still able to feel, u might not and u dont wanna go through that. there was a point where i didnt feel any pain wen i cut. none at all and that crushed me cuz it was the last sense of feeling i had left. i fell deeper into my depression and cut more and more to try and force myself to feel it. i ended up in the mental hospital.i still cut and now i feel it somewhat. i still cant completely feel anything. but cutting to feel it and not feeling it can make u fall even more and lose ur identity, i did. and now im more screwed up.

just find sumthin else to make u feel.

for me writing helps me put down everything and then reading it i can kind of feel a simulated emotion. talk to sum1 who has been through it. and mayb they can help u feel and not to lose yourself. you dont wanna do that cuz thats one of the worst things and its hard to get out of cuz i still havnt.

You really need to see a counselor and get evaluated for this. Don't go through more pain, see someone and begin to heal. Depression can be helped with natural suppliments, you can see a naturopath. Please take the first step to get well, get some help.

Please go see your GP or talk to someone you can trust. Thoughts/ talk of suicide and self harm should NEVER be taken lightly. You GP may be able to refer you to a counselor- you NEED to talk to someone.
