Hey, get a grip if you are thirty-two then you are old enough to know that when the time comes she'll tell you. But, be an adult, not a spoiled kid obviously she's lived with it all this time and there may or may not be something she doesn't want you to know just now. It doesn't change anything between you and your grandfather, apparently it didn't make any difference to him! Give your mom time and get on with your life, don't let it define you life!

First of all, I fail to understand what the problem is.
You say "We are the picture perfect family you would never think there are skeletons in the closet."
If you and your family has been happy all these years, why should it make an iota of difference if she is adopted.
In the first place, nobody is going to think any less of you because of it, and furthermore, I don't know why anyone else need know anyway.
I think you are manifesting a problem that isn't there. I am not putting you down, but consider the fact that there are a lot of families that are miserable with each other and no adoption in the family anywhere.
I think you should count your blessings and forget about the adoption.

To the vet, ASAP. there is not any reason to contemplate putting a cat 9-10 years old down until eventually you come across out what's happening. A 9-10 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old cat is approximately resembling a fifty two-fifty six 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old human - numerous existence to stay yet. there are various treatable issues that reason the indicators you describe that are quite person-friendly in older cats. Diabetes, kidney ailment, hyperthyroidism are in all hazard 3 of the main person-friendly issues inflicting themes you describe in older cats. in case you forget approximately them, they are going to proceed getting worse and inflicting different issues. in case you take care of them, your cat will experience plenty extra effective and you will avert added harm to his physique. The vet won't care that your cat's in no way been to the vet. they might rigidity you to furnish a rabies vaccine as some vets won't take care of a cat that hasn't been vaccinated for rabies, yet it particularly is approximately it. the factor they are going to choose to do is bloodwork. If money is a challenge, call a pair of vets and ask how plenty it particularly is to do an examination and a senior blood panel for a cat. In my section which would be approximately $a hundred and fifty and would tell a vet plenty approximately what's happening of their little physique. i exchange into in this place no longer earlier and my kitty (he's 10) feels plenty extra effective with much less costly drugs. solid luck!

Just remember that for whatever the reason, they ended up with you. That means that strangers accepted a child that was not theirs, and took care of this child like they would have their own. I would be completely confused, as well. Your mother probably seen how picture perfect your family was, and didn't want to take that away from anyone, especially you. Be thankful for that. I wouldn't blame you, though if you wanted to search for your other family to find some answers. You never know what really happened until you check it out. Well, I wish you the best, especially around Christmas. Take care.

This was your Mother's choice not to tell you. Maybe she never thought about her biological parents You are 32 years old and what difference is it going to make if your grandparents were not your blood. They were your family. Seems that your Mom was happy with you nt knowing, so let it be.

Her love as well as your grandfathers love- wasn't measured by blood. I loved my grandmother dearly- i was as well adopted. She wasnt my blood- but she was more family than i could ever hope to have. I lost her when i was 16.
In my biological parents papers- my biological mother lost both her parents- and my biological father denied me- so I would have never had grandparents- bioloigcally. I am so lucky to have been adopted. And honestly- it's hard to look at it like that anymore- if my children one day ever ask- i won't lie- but i probably won't volunteer that information either. "blood" doesn't choose how you love- your heart does!

Adoption is not a skeleton in the closet. It is a wonder of humanity and love. Why on earth does it upset you?

I think your mom did her best to make you guys happy and you shouldn't try to interrogate her, regardless of who her real parents were they gave you the love you Needed it to be the person you are today, and you should not judge them for that, why didn't her real parents try to contact you guys? maybe they didn't care? who knows, all know is that they loved you even tho you were not blood related, and love is thicker than blood, be glad you had someone to love you back you could of had nothing at all. Be glad for what you were given and thank your mom for her doing what would you do when she is gone? lover her now that she still here.....
