I drink a gallon or alittle more of sweet black tea every day. I never drink water or soda's just tea. Is this bad for my health or is it better then being a soda drinker?

Thanks for your replys.

John, you're doing great!

Tea has powerful antioxidant properties and protects against several types of cancer, including stomach.

Soda is just sugar with water. Nobody on the Kimkins diet drinks soda, but many of us love tea! Iced, hot, doesn't matter.

I drank sweet tea (with lots of sugar in it) constantly over a couple months and developed a kidney stone from the build up of all the sugar. It was extremely painful, so be careful with what kind of tea you drink!

if its sugared tea, it has health benefits but they are all knocked down from the sugar content in it... sugar is NOT good for you... plus all the caffeine, could really mess you up .
