Yes and you should. Report him to INS and ICE also. All you have to do is mail the INS a letter with his data (name, age, nationality,..)& a short story about him and ill intention. Call I.C.E and speak to an agent over the phone & u don't even have to give information about yourself. BRAVO !
People should report all illegals!

Yes Report This To Immigration Services. Because It Is A Scam And He Is Taking Advantage Of U. There Is Probally Reason He Want To Come To The USA And If U Knowingly Help Him U Can Be Charged With Accesorry To What Ever Is Going On with Him. He May Be ur Ex but cease contact with him right away he is using ur trust in him to have u help him out and that not ok

It would not be illegal until he married you (which he has not done yet).

Also, if you had a somewhat functional relationship and met under normal circumstances, it would be diffuclt to prove that he only wanted to get married for the immigration status. Usually, cases that are prosecuted for that involve a clear exchange (such as money) from the immigrant in order to have the marriage take place.

yes it would be classified as "illegal". you could also be in hot water if you marry someone just to get them a "green card". If in fact your ex used you to get a "green card" then yes report him. Does he have a "green card"? If so, it had to have been given to him other than marrying you. Since you two didn't marry, he had to have gotten it some other way. But, do what your heart says to do.

Yes someone can get deported for trying to marry you just for a green card, and you should report him.

Yes, it is illegal. Before reporting him, be real sure you can prove that he was using you to get a green card and that you didn't know that is what he was doing,

The short answer is yes. But depend on his visa status. If he is British, they have special status. They dont need visa for staying in U.S. for less than 3 months. If he is here with K-1, fiancee visa, he may be deported. Immigration laws are complex and the devil is in the details.

Unless he can prove you knew you were marrying him so he could get a green card you should be safe. However, a good human being would be 100% certain before ruining someones life in this way before destroying a marrige and getting him deported.

Yes, it is illegal. But, since you didn't marry the guy, I don't think it will do you any good to report it. You might want to warn the next victim though.

Yes it's illegal. Yes, it would get him busted if you reported him. I wonder, though, what your real reason is for this? Is he that bad or are you coming off a really bad break up?
