Why do you think Islams and terrorists are related?? Just because the major terrorist in the U.S. is from Islam religion does not mean that the person is a terrorist. Islamic people, aren't terrorists. For all we know, the (sorry for using this religion as an example!!!) Buddhists could be the next people who attack the U.S.
Terrorists are the same as freedom fighters, it is just a way when people look at it. The U.S. has been invading some Islamic countries, and that is why Islamic people are doing what 'terrorists' would be doing, fighting for their freedom!
Yes, Islam has been getting a lot of attention because they are the countries that our country is invading. They are fighting for their freedom, and the U.S. may not realize that, but we still cannot call all terrorists are from the Islam Religion....

Yes, it's definitely Islam. But I don't understand how something horrible the like the 9/11 can lure others to Islam?? Isn't "advertising" a means of getting people's attention in a **positive** sense?!!? If 9/11 was soo terrible, then shouldn't it drive people away from it and not attract people's interest? Anyways, Islam has always been the fastest growing religion and it will remain so NOT because it was publicized but because if one looks into the heart of Islam, they will find what beautiful and exalted this way of life is. Islam will grow because it's the truth. The truth can never be defied.

Islam is growing fastest, but I have to wonder about the sincerity of members who are forced, under threat of death to convert. Christianity is still the largest religion on earth.

911 was a self inflicted wound. The two towers came down by a controlled demoltion. The war on terror is our own goverenment. All they care about is making profit on us, throught the federal reserve, and forming a one world governement so they can only get more power. The war in Iraq has only just begun. The bible makes it that a war will start in the Euphrates river (present day Iraq) that will end up killing 1/3 of the world. Which is the next prophecy to be fufilled. Prophecy also teaches us that we are living in the last empire known as the holy roman empire. So the political leader will be the anti-christ, and the pope will be the false prophet. So if Catholism is the main religion, most likely Islam will be involved in this current war.

Sorry but it depends where on the planet you are talking about. Hare Krishna is huge in many countries and The Christian Essenes are starting to take off in America. I think most Americans may come to Islam for a short time but give it up for various reasons.

I think in the united states it is the Mormon religion and in Europe and Africa it is the Muslim religion....world wide it is the Muslim religion.....not a very pleasant thought.
I do not say that to mock Muslims but as a matter of fact the extremist views and interpretation of the quaran is very intolerant of non Muslims, I believe it says something like if your not a Muslim and refuse to become one you must die...???
There are of course less extreme ways of interpreting the quaran and fortunately some Muslims are more moderate.

the fatsest growing belief is atheistm/agnosticism.
religiouswise, wiccan and mormonism are both growing faster then islam.
buddhism is also growing rapidly.
it's wierd though, because although islam may be growing here in the west, in the east people are becoming christians in drones! last year 30,000 turks became christian.. there are like only 200,000 christians in turkey, yet 30,000 more became christian in one year! so point being, you see some wierd thing going on.
