I'm a Christian. I find it very hard, actually impossible to believe in an invisible man in the sky. That doesn't sit right with me. I think how can anyone actually seriously believe in an invisible "man". God is spirit, through which we are all connected. He is not an image or person. He does not do "magical" things. Everything is natural. Also- when I say "he" it again does not refer to him as a person. I don't believe "God" inteferes with our lives. God bless you to me means "I wish you well, may something good happen to/for you."

Having been the passenger in a car behind a pick up truck loaded to the gills with furniture and barely surviving a chest of drawers rising up completely off it's back and suddenly stopping and laying back down flat with no given reason it's not so difficult to believe at all. Maybe it sounds like not such a big deal or an incredible miracle but if you had seen HOW that chest of drawers flew up and was stopped by some unseen force and gently laid back down you would have no choice but to believe. I pray for God's protection over my family every day. That is one experience that showed me He hears me and answers my prayers.

You are so blinded with your stupidity that it is hard for you to open your heart and read the bible to find the magical things he did and is still doing. He created the world you live in now, that's a miracle! He heals the sick every now and then. Prayers are been answered and wishes fulfilled for those who constantly trust in him. He knows how dumb you are and is willing to save and heal you from your spiritual blindness.

Black Atheist - That's not what is believed. And its not difficult to believe in our Creator. Or in the fact that the teachings in scripture regarding the law and sin are of him. Besides, it makes perfect sense that our Creator would have something to say about right living, don't you think?

Nope not at all.
He lives outside the realm of time, an enviroment and needs nothing outside himself to exist. Our universe had a beginning so it makes sense that he would not be bound by the same laws.

Adams said "God bless this house.." when going into the White House. He was a great man. Many great men believe. Many men of every discipline, whose intellect, ability to rationally observe and react. Men and women who have MADE this world for you, thru innovation, observation, political and scientific contribution.

And they are all idiots in your eyes.

I have a difficult time believing in ...you.

God can't fix all of our problems. But he will lend a helping hand if you pray with sincerity, and pray from the heart, and pray for something not worldy and sinful. And if you don't believe in God, consider this: (Taken from another answer I posted.)

People can almost prove that what happened years ago in history and stuff, like how the declaration of independence happened, what it actually looked like, or who really discovered the US, but people can disprove that, too. NO ONE knows if the Bible is the truth, so that means we can't disprove it.

I don't feel the need to justify my beliefs to you. Thankfully, you are not the ultimate arbiter of truth in the universe.

But I am curious as to why you're so eager to mock the beliefs of others.

God is real!

We believe BY FAITH He's true
He leads us through all we do
We trust in Him to guide our days
He works in many unknown ways
He is our God, and He can be your God too
Just believe in Him and say you do
Ask Him into your heart today,
And all your sins will be washed away!
Believe in Him, He loves you so.
He's loved you forever and wants you to know!
HE IS REAL! We know it's true.
We believe, and I hope you do too.

It is not hard to believe in Him. He is my God, and He can be yours too.
