It's easy to imagine what we would have done in the situation but being there, being caught off guard with thousands of thoughts running through the mind - there is no telling what we would have done.
A car can be replaced. The father of those children can not. He did the right thing. I hope he had insurance. But consider it a blessing that he is all right. In this day and age he is lucky the person didn't take the car and shoot him. Testing them to see if they truly had a gun can be deadly. Though most people who are that brazen usually won't have trouble showing the gun from the beginning. But better safe (and alive) than sorry.

yes he was dam right 4 giving up his car.just think if he didnt he could be dead right now leaving behind his wife and 2 kids without a husband and father all because he didnt want 2 give his car up.now is a car worth ur life?a car is something u can always get back n-e-time u have the money 4 it but once someone takes ur life that is something that u can never get back.im pretty sure that his wife and kids and u would rather have him living and breathing instead of a car.

He was right in giving up the car. Maybe the guy was faking, but maybe he did have a gun. Is his life worth a 50/50 gamble like that, if not to himself than to his wife and kids? A guy near here was recently shot to death when a carjacker thought he was too slow in giving up his car. A car is a hunk of metal, your life is everything you've got.

Its is not worth finding out if the thing that was pointed to your brother was a real gun or a finger. If your brother knew it was a finger and not a gun ---then backed down I would say he is a super P-----sy. But he did the right thing.

Yes he was right in giving up the car!
A car can be replaced, but your brother can not, and his wife and kids need him more than they need a car.
No material thing is worth your life.

Definitely. He would have been basically been saying that his pride is worth more than his wife and children if he had tried to fight off a guy who could've had a gun. He couldn't risk dying and leaving them alone, you know? It would have been selfish of him to fight back.

If he was in the car and it was on then he was stupid to stop. Even if the guy had a gun, chances are he wouldn't have fired it. Even if he had, firing accurately at a moving vehicle isn't particularly easy if you're some punk street rat.
