sloppy joe meatloaf
i made this up when i wanted something that kids would like as well as adults. you can also add shredded cheese(over the top) at the last few minutes of baking.
2 lbs ground beef
1 1/4 cups breadcrumbs
2 eggs (beaten)
1 large yellow onion (minced)
in a large bowl combine all ingredients-do not over work the mixture as you will have a tough meatloaf.
shape into a loaf and put in a deep baking dish.
put in a preheated 350 degree oven on middle rack for 60-90 minutes.
the center of the meat should reach 160 degrees on a meat thermometer.

If you want easy and good, brown the amount of hamburger you plan to use and put it in the crock pot. Buy the store brand of sloppy joe mix. It is usually not as "tomatoey" as Manwich. Put as many cans as you need over the meat. Add a can of corned beef and mix it in well. Let it cook on low for a couple hours or so. This is the best sloppy joe you will ever eat.

basic sloppy joe recipe (even though i'm not sure if this is what you meant)
ketchup
mustard
brown sugar
first cook the meat then you put the ingredients in to taste and that's all. (i like it with a lot of mustard!) don't go to far with the brown sugar!

Brown off the ground beef then mix in equal parts BBQ sauce and marinara sauce. Very quick and very good. It would be better if you make the two sauces yourself but some store bought sauces are pretty good.
