There are many uses for projectors. Display large presentations, movies or gaming. Therefore, government, churches, schools, movie watchers, gamers, sporting events. When you need a large image in a confining space, a projector is the perfect solution. If you are trying to use it outdoors or in a room with alot of lights, projection may not be the right solution for you. For home theater, many people go with LCD or plasma as it provides a brighter picture and doesn't get washed out by light like projectors do.
