You definitely are the "Mixed"Guy. It's not Muslims who read like that, it's the Jews dear friend. They rock back and forth while they read/pray. Movement during prayer is not allowed in Islam, actually. Some may knod a little while reading the Quran only to keep a gentle rhythm. The Quran is actually written very beautifully in poetic like verses.

Because those ones are the Jews, lost tribes that eventually mixed in with muslim. it is a Jewish thing. It was to make sure the preist was still alive in the most holy place....long story

I'm a muslim and I've never done this. Don't know why, I think that you saw a muslim that prays like that. Or maybe you confused a jew with a muslim, they do move back and forth while praying.

they are moving in motion with their prayers.
it's obivious that chanting and rocking can go as deep as chanting while trying to mediate.
