No. No I couldn't and no I wouldn't. No good God would ask for that.

You must be referring to Abraham. Have you ever noticed that Abraham knew that he would get Isaac back? See Hebrews 11:19 "Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.".
God didn't want to be mean and take away Isaac away from Abraham. He wanted to bring him to the point where he would rely on God only to fulfill his promise because God is the only one who can raise the dead. Before that Abraham relied on human means to make God's promise work. Now he finally believed God would keep to his promise.
But in order for the world get be able to get saved by faith he had to die to himself and send away the the one who was the first little baby he ever held in his arms. "Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman." Galatians 4:30
He cared for them and gave them bread and water.

If there was no doubt of course I would because I know He loves me and that he would take care of who I had to sacrifice. I would have to be obedient to my Father. It is unlikely though that he would ask such a thing in todays world apart from the time of Abraham for the world today would lock you up and throw away the key.

He tested Abraham by telling him to kill his son on the alter as a sacrifice but stopped him at the last moment.
God would never do this now. We don't need sacrifices like they did in the old testiment (animal sacrifices that is). Jesus was the sacrificial lamb that took our sins through the shedding of His blood.

If it was infact the true and one God, then yes I would, but I would so ******* want him to do like the Bible and stop me before it actually happens. It even says in the commandments,BEFORE IT SAYS THOU SHALL NOT KILL, to love Him before anything else, so if you didn't that would be the same as declining him, say before an oppresive ruler who wants you to denounce God in the rulers name and bow to him.

There is a story in the Bible meant to be a test of obedience by the heart. where our love for God is to be greater than our love for that or whom we love most. The message is often miss interpreted .

Personally, the question bothers me. God is a God of Love. He is a teacher, he wants us to have faith in him, but he's not going to make us break his own comandments. Obviously, No

Hmmmmm...kind of like G-d telling Abraham to offer up his son, Isaac, as a sacrifice to prove his faith...and then just as it's about to happen, G-d says, "OK, OK, don't do it! You proved yourself!" That's one of the wildest stories in the Bible. And, y'know, no...to answer your question....I think I would be highly suspect of a God who tells me to kill someone I love. Pretty antithetical to the God I believe in.
