The health risks are only that you may cut yourself or experience irritation.

Once it begins to grow back, it will itch like crazy. You have to continue shaving once you start.

Some women like it, some women don't. To some, it looks "cleaner" to them. To others, it makes a man look like a twelve year old. It's the same for men and women shaving their pubic area- some men like it, some don't.

First, you have to do what you feel comfortable doing. If someone doesn't want to be with you simply because you have no pubic hair, then that might be a sign that you shouldn't be with that person. Second, is it a health risk? It can be if you cut yourself. It could also be if you shave and then have sex with someone will your pores are still open. Otherwise, the worst you might encounter is an ingrown hair as the hairs grown back. On a positive note, with no hair you less chance of having a breeding ground for "crabs".

You can wax is off or use cream to let it drop out on its own.
Best way to find out whether to retain the patch down there is to ask the women you are intimate with.

I don't like it when a man shaves, trim yes but not shave. If a man is shaved it makes me think he had crabs or something. Do whatever makes you comfortable, it's your body.

I like it trimmed but not totally gone. Short enough that I don't have to worry about pulling it, catching it in my teeth, etc, but not bare (makes me think of children which is not the reaction you want when you pull off your boxers.

Hair grows there for a reason. Why do you want to make yourself look like you're eight years old?

Unless your woman says something to you about it, its really your choice. I would take a trimmer to it to keep her from choking on it when she gives you those jollies.

It's kind of feminine looking to me.

I don't care for it. I don't like to rub my sensitive areas on stubble, either.
