I have been on a super low carb diet for about 3 weeks now, and I have lost a significant amount of weight so far. The problem is I dont eat all that much meat, so I'm left with salad and cheese. Does anyone know of some semi low carb snacks or items I could incorporate into my diet.

yes i was on the atkins diet a couple years ago. and that is low carb.
rice cakes
mustard (no carbs)
chicken
tomatoes
eggs, poached, deviled, fried, omlets
tuna
there is even peanut butter, that you can buy at the store, and it is a low carb peanut butter. i remember it has a light blue lid.
and your going to want to eat mayo instead of miracle whip because mayo has less carbs
even crystal light is low in carbs.

(just a tip for if you ever get off this diet, when people are on a low carb diet, and get off of the diet, they tend to gain more weight that they started out to be. this is because its a tremendous change in their eating habbits, which is why you probobly noticed that you started losing weight really fast.)

Good Luck and i hope i helped

I was on low carb diet for a few years and my favorite food/snack was a chicken salad with mayo and tabasco. The tabasco is diluted by the mayo so it isn't hot, but the flavor remains and it is quite good. I even served it at a party and people loved it. I usually have it with 1 or 2 sticks of cheese. The chicken is from a can I bought at Costco and I mash it up so looks like tuna and isn't chunky. It has no carbs at all.

Another snack you can try since you like cheese, try a cheese spread like rondele, I found one with artichoke and it was great with hormel pepperoni slices. Pork Rinds BBQ flavor by UTZ is 0 carbs and it is the only pork rinds I liked. Try it with the cheese spreads too or dips. Sugar free jello, 0 carbs comes premade in little cups ready to eat when you have those sugar cravings, and u can add whipped topping which is also low carb in small doses.

Hot Dogs with sauerkraut, dill pickles, also u can make a nice burger topping by using zero carb pickle relish and add "hot" mayo by Kraft. Chicken wings makes good snacks too as well as a meal.

There is a great low carb diet supplement snack available on the web site below that I enjoy a few times a day, especially when that sweet tooth kicks in or when I get that late evening snack twinge. It is a vanilla ice cream flavored shake. I mix mine with 8 oz of skim milk, one scoop of the shake mix, and 6 frozen strawberries and blend. It is very filling and very satisfying and it does contain the Hoodia Gordonii for appetite suppressant. One canister will give you about 20 shakes and I think it runs about $25 which is only $1.25 a shake. You can buy direct as the below site has an on-line store. Best of luck to you my friend and here's to your health and mine !!!!

I recommend cashews or other nuts, eggs, pork rinds, sugar-free jello, cottage cheese, turnips, green beans, and ESPECIALLY cooked cauliflower. For meat, you might try beef sticks, lunch meat, liverworst, spam...try ham and cheese loaf.

You can eat a lot of what you'd find at a Chinese restaurant, also, iincluding the shrimp...just avoid the rice.

Firstly you need more protein in your diet. Fruits are your best snack foods. They are low carb. As for meals try meat and vegetables of choice. Without protein in your diet your kidneys will go into shock so for the sake of your heals eat more meat.
