Well..for 2 months had a headache and a abcess on tooth..?

The dentist started a root canal today, didn't hurt at all, however headache still there. Shouldn't the headaches have stopped once she started the root canal??? Also have neck ache, wondering if it was this all along causing the headaches not the tooth. Can a neck ache cause tingling on the scalp?

Teeth can cause head aches and yes a neck ache can cause tingling. I think If I were you I would make an appointment to see a doctor. You could have a pinched nerve or some other issue with your neck and head.

have u ever been diagnosed with tmj? i have this and got diagnosed after a visit to get my wisdom teeth cut out, a few months after that my neck, face, jaw and ears would kill me and thats what it is, sometimes my scalp does bother me, alot of people think u can only get this from grinding your teeth but thats not true, any trauma to the mandible jaw bone will cause this, i have only 5% of muscle for my jaw on the left side, if it doesnt begin to improve, i might have to have surgery,,,, might be something u want to check into
