Who told you Muslims believe that Judas was the one who replaced Jesus son of Mary (peace be upon them both).
Three is no doubt that Quran says that Jesus son of Mary (peace be upon them) excaped the cricification.BUt Quran does not tell us how exactly that happened.It just says that He was raised to the heaven.There is no sayings of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also to explain this thing.
Clerics have tried to derived at how that happend.One you told is one of the opinion.There are many other opinions also.They may be right, they may be wrong.
But one thing is sure that Jesus son of Mary (peace be upon them) did excaped crucifiction.
