Not necessarily.
a) You may not have ever been asked out. Therefore, the flattery can make you blush.
b) Women are more irrational than men. They may blush for strange reasons.
c) The way you have been asked can make you blush. For instance, even a wierdo may ask you out by getting on to his knees. The blush may then be an embarrassment.
