With a fine tooth comb

get a small toothed comb and lift it up off the brush... it works for me, also if it is long tangly hair, lift enough to cut off then pull the rest off. Once you have the hair off, to actually clean the brush and comb for that matter, run you some hot water in a large cup of cuplike thingy, and first put a 1/2 tsp of shampoo inside then the comb and brush and run hot water in there and swish it around a little and then let it set for a few minutes so the shampoo can dissolve the buildup inside the hygiene products... then after a good 10 15 min. rinse and let dry!

I take a comb and run it threw the brush,to get the hair out, then let them soak in the bathroom sink in some shampoo, then rinse and let dry on a towel.

I use a large comb to rake hair out my brushes and soak them in shampoo and rinse.

If you have a dishwasher, put it in there and it will wash it right up... pull as much of the hair out as you can first though
