I am attractive, have a cute figure, own my own house, good job, financially and emotionally stable.
Men never ever approach me or seem interested.
What makes men approach women? What can I do to be approachable? I see all sorts of women get approached so I don't think it is just about looks.
I am very very shy with men, but I am not a rude person or a bi tch.
Suggestions please.

Rather than doing anything just to attract someone, make sure that you get out and do things that you find interesting. Men you meet there will already have something in common with you, and you would already have something to talk about. For example, if there is something you would like to learn, sign up for lessons.

Damn U Guys Are Such Pigs!! How Do You Know She Is Fat! Have No Way To Tell Or Know What Has Been Going On In Her Life? So Shut Ur ******* Toilet Mouths. I Used To Be Like U I Was Very Very Shy And I Had No Friends Till I Graduated High School And I Found A Friend Through Work And I Didnt Have My First Gf until i was 20 And im almost 22 so dont worry about the age just go out with some friends And have a good time. when the right man comes along god will let u know and dating sites are a good idea but watch out because there are alot of preditors on those sites. I Recommend Americansingles.com there prices are that bad and there a good service. Dont use eharmony or match.com because eharmony is over rated and match.com is full of spammers believe me i am a part both and they suck!

Look deep into your mind while first going to bed and try to fell out what you think is wrong.
Is it the way you dress? I am sure it is not.
Is ityour attitude? It could be that people think your shyness is attitude or stand offishness. Be more open. Approach men
like you are their equal which you are. You don't have to be flirty and you don't sound like you are flirty more like scared to be turned down and don't know how tobegan a relationship.
Personally I think one of the best things for you would be to take soem courses at school(college) such as debating, speech, government or self improvement. There you will meet people with the same problem as you have and learn how they handled theirs or didn't handle them right. A really good confidence course is the "Dale Carngie Course" . It delivers self improvement and learns you how to meet and converse/relate to people.
Have you considered joining a singles group. There are some good ones but also you find females are usually about 10 to 1 males there.
I would consider going to church (and I am atheist) to meet some nice guys if I was you. Plan your day ahead at the office or work place and each day plan to get closer to people in conversations,
job related business,and gradually began to talk of things which interests you.
One thing you can be sure. There are many guys out there who would like to meet you also. You would bhesurprised at how many shy guys there are.

People who knows says that people perceives what you think about you... if you thing you are very shy then people will think the same thing...
If you are all that you say, I'm pretty sure there are more than one who wants to approach you... think about your behavior, what signals do you send out, there is a whole theory about human relations you know!
Why are you shy? Afraid of getting a NO... you already have the no, so who cares... talk to people without thinking about getting a couple as first priority... things happen and you never know when... so just think about it, act normally and i guess that's all you need... but definitively a social life helps!

Here's a novel thought...find someone who seems promising and approach him. 99 out of 100 guys will accept (unless they're taken, though admittedly, even that doesn't stop some of 'em). Trust me...we love being asked out by women...it's gratifying. If you're like most women, you're probably overwhelmed with the urge to find a guy who'll treat you like dirt. Please fight this urge and give the nice guys a shot.

You know I was about 26 before I had a boy friend. Some times you have to be a friend to have a friend. If you are shy, you may have to make the first step, is there a guy out there you are interested in? You may have to make yourself take the first step, that is the hardest. Good Luck! You can do it!!

Go some place where men gather. Dress down (Jeans and T-shirt), and let the men approach you. Don't tell them to much about yourself (let them think you are an average woman, some men fear strong women), make small talk and be sure to pick a man you feel comfortable with.

I'm shy, too. Try Yahoo Personals or match.com...it worked for me because we e-mailed each other for a while and got to know each other a bit (not face to face), then met...and it made me, at least, not feel so nervous. We've been dating five months now. :)

only missing out on some things. Many of your friends wish they could be single again, their just not telling you that. Don't waste away go out, explore & enjoy your life without a curfew.
