Maybe you came onto him too strong or he's cheating on you. There are times when it's okay to be together and spending quality time with each other. Then there are your separate lives which you need to handle. If you bothered him every single minute, every hour, every second of the day I bet he would be annoyed. I would be annoyed too and think that you were a psycho. It's the same with a guy bothering his girlfriend every single minute, every single hour, every single second of the day. I bet his girlfriend would be pretty annoyed and dump him to be single again. Then there's those crazy people who like the attention 24 hours a day and seven days a week. If your relationship doesn't go anywhere good, it's time to call it quits and start over fresh.

So he's either:
1. Cheating on you
2. Extremely annoyed by you
or
3. Gay

I'd let him. The truth is, I want to be single, too. If I had a boyfriend, I'd just be cheating on myself. It's best to end those affairs quickly.

Commend him on his honesty, and move on. Clearly things weren't working out between you two, so its best for both of you that things went the way they did.

Be glad that he was honest enough with you - would you really want someone hanging around pretending they want to be with you when they didn't? The longer it would take to break up, the harder it is.

there's more to that. He doesn't know what he wants and he wants to see if he could hook up with other people before he settles.
