I suggested we do something and he just blushed, looked at me and nodded - all the while not saying a word. just nodding.
I walked away and he yelled out something like "Take care!" but we made no definite plans afterward.
So people say if he really liked me he would have made plans or gotten in touch with me and he hasn't yet.
What does it mean? I got rejected?

It sounds like this guy is really really shy. You may have to initiate actual plans. If he nodded then he probably wants to do something with you. Next time be specific like a movie and time or place to have dinner... and see if he still seems interested. Try again! Good luck.

He's obviously shy, but if you were as vague as you explained in your question, there's also the possibility that he wasn't sure what you were suggesting. You know how women like men that are direct? It works for men too.

He may just be shy and you caught him off guard. I wouldn't say yet that you've been rejected. Let him make the next move.

He could be shy.
If he never contacts you, he only rejected his own happiness and possibilty of new friendship.

He could have been shy.So if you want to get him to ask you out you just:Strike up conversation.Get to know him.
