After class I am gonna suggest to this girl, that I have never talked to before, that we go see a movie. Of coarse I am going to introduce my self and tell her that she seems different than other girls... I am 20, she is about the same. Sound like a good idea? Why? Why not?

I have the "you seem different" thing all figured out. You know.."despite your physical qualities, you seem to be good humored, kind, friendly, smart..." Goch?

Hi,
I think this is very poor advice unless she has flirted/winked or talked with you before. You would be much better served to make small talk after class, and say you'd love to call her sometime and get the number.
She may commit to giving you her number to get to know you better; whereas a 2+ hour movie is a pretty big time commitment. If she turns you down for them movie, it will be hard to work backwards and get the number since she already rejected you.
All the advice is dependent upon her reaction when you go up and make small talk. If she seems interested and actively flirting with you, go for the movie. Else, start with something smaller and work your way up.
In any case, good luck!!!

Well shouldn't you get to know her first? She might think you only like her for her looks. I mean, how can you say "you seem different from other girls," if you've never talked to her before?
She might think your strange, but you know, some girls like that, so I say go for it.
You can say something like "I've been seeing you around lately, and I think your pretty," And start a conversation from that.
Good luck, man.

Might be a little too soon. She might have a bf. Instead suggest maybe getting a cup of coffee or a coke if she would like. Talk to her first before you ask her out.

I agree with some dude, I wouldn't recommend asking her straight out as it will be awkward to accept a date from a stranger.
Talk to her in your class first, hen get her number, then ask her out

I would skip the part about how she seems different. Other than that, I think it sounds good.

how about a latte or hotchocolet or something at a starbucks... you can visit, look at each other and then go from there...
a movie limits personal contact, she may have differing tastes and not very original..

Good idea. Don't even think twice about it. If she tells you "no", tell her that now she REALLY is different than other girls as they all usually say "yes." ;-)
