the mean is the same as the average. so just add the three numbers together and divide by 3 (because that's how many numbers there are).
example: 12, 45, 63
12 + 45 + 63 = 120
120 / 3 = 40
so the mean is 40

Add the three numbers together and divide what you get by 3.

For example, if you want the mean of 4, 12 and 9, you add them together to get 4+12+9=25. Then you divide by 3 to get 25/3=8.333. And that's the mean.
