i have stuff in my library that i don't want. i just wanna delete it all and start over.

Are you sure? Why don't you just add the stuff you really like to a playlist and name it something that will remind you what is in it.
lots of cool ways to sort the stuff that is there to find it easier

For XP go to start-my music hold down CTRL KEY and left click to select all the folders you really want to delete then hit delete key and follow the prompts.

Highlight everything then right click and delete from library only
