Shaving not only looks awkward (like an infant and yet fully-grown, if you know what I'm talking about), but the area would probably become itchy and irritated.
Trimming is a good option, because no one likes the other extreme of it being ridiculously hairy down there.
If you choose to trim, it's up to you how much you want to leave down there and how much you want to keep. And remember that it'll grow back eventually.

trim - lets face it, makes the sculpture in the lawn look larger. But shaving? Yikes. NO!!!!! Not unless you live in Tanzania, and its 120 degrees and 95% humidity - and I would hesitate then!

Hey, I have shaved all hair except just above it. Left a patch like the women do, I love it, just have to keep shaving or it gets to itching.
Do what makes you feel good, and do it for yourself not for anyone else

If your sexually active sure, if youre the only one who sees it, then maybe not. Its hard to tell ya if its sexy or not. I dont go around asking guys if they shave or not. Whatever makes you comfortable!!
