something tasteful and personal, but not too personal. Lik a gift basket or something. Don't give the female bath products. Try tea and cookies instead. For the guy, some small tech thing is usually welcomed. you can get nice stuff of this nature without spending too much, too. www.gifts.com can help, too

It depends on whether or not you all are doing a gift echange and how close you are to these two individuals. I ahve always felt that gift cards are way impersonal. There are beautiful baskets as cheap as $15.00 at Smart & Final, Costco, etc. I have typically done gift baskets (refrain from gift baskets with alcohol). They have always been a hit. People can always regift them too. '-)

A coffee mug with the male and females' name engraved on it. This would be perfect because (1) coffee mugs are used in the office, and (2) they are individualized, making them extra special.

gift cards are the thing anymore. they aren't too personal, which is great for the office. i would suggest something like a book store or a coffee shop. something nearby work.
