I don't know if you have or not, and I have seen much worse questons stay on the board.
I have seen the first question before several times by different askers, and I don't think it was deleted
Edit: No, I wouldn't say it is a generic question, I am just saying that they let a lot of posts stay on site, with little regard for content. Nothing wrong with your questions at all. You probably have a stalker or two reporting you. I have, and it is annoying.

A while back, I asked "What is your purpose for being on the Internet? What are YOU looking for here?" and they deleted that.
Any clues as to why? Chatting?
There was no violation notice, nothing. The Q was simply yanked...
