Firstly let me start by pointing out that I could rightly say I told you so, and frankly it is rightly so.
For the last 12 months I have been consistently pointing out the flaws in your advertising and product development techniques as well as the sad lack of consultation with coal face staff memebers. While I am unhappy about the fact that you have effectively caused ireperably damaged something I have put my heart and soul into, I am of the firm belief that should I and my team have some more direct input into future campaigns and general directions of business that we can reserect this dying pheonix.
While I understand that you believe you have your directions and justifications for those decisions, I would like you to truely look inside those decisions and make sure they are really made in the interest of future development of the business whilst protecting those interests of key stakeholders- i.e your staff and our customers.

It is my firm belief that you should hold yourself accountable for the finacial losses to our company for your gross oversight of good sense.
I look forward to working with you in the future to come up with some sensible solutions to the problem bought on by your lack of forsight and common sense.
Yours sincerely

Crikey qtg.....you sure about that firing thing?? Ok, I'll take your word for it - you must have an interest in the coy?? They must have seriously p.issed you off.....
If it was me I would lose the first line as it sounds a little, well......I would just delete the first line, your second paragraph could be used as an opener.
Without knowing the sitch, it's hard to pass comment. Will the words you have chosen not make your employement uncomfortable?
just run it through a spell check first.....
Have you delivered it yet....I'm busting to know the outcome?

hmm...if you must write this complaint letter may I suggest that you have someone assist you, or dare I say, write it for you. Preferably someone with some diplomacy skills. If it's true that you put your "heart and soul" into a project I understand your feelings of frustration that it has been apparently dismantled. However justified you may be, your letter is condescending, patronizing, and makes you sound arrogant. People who are truly smarter than everyone else, as your letter suggests you are, don't have to brag. Perhaps if you had used a little more diplomacy and consideration, your ideas would have been taken more seriously. Regarldess of whether you can be fired or not, it's not wise to alienate those around you, and especially those above you. It's quite possible that if you learn some communication skills and try to be a little more respectful that others will be more willing to hear you out. You shouldn't ask people to do things you're not willing to do. You ask the recipient of this letter to look within. I might suggest you do the same. Good luck.

Apart from the overwhelming amount of spelling errors and grammatical oddities, which would need to be corrected, keep the following in mind:
Regardless of who your letter is aimed at, courtesy and respect will get you a lot further than patronising and personal attacks. When your recipient reads the letter, you want them to think about it and respond accordingly. If they are forced into a defensive mode, then you will be looking around for a new job very soon.
If you really can't be fired, then you either have tenure, or you are a public servant. But that doesn't stop you from being shifted to another less fun position in the same company. The other possibility is that you are an owner of the company, but that makes no sense at all, because why would you be writing letters to yourself?
Further... consider how exciting life is going to be if you really piss management off, and they can't get rid of you.

O.k. first of all, why can't you be fired? Anyone can be fired. If your thinking retaliation gives you the protection from being fired then be careful. I found your letter to be quite disrespectful to you, your staff and especially your boss. I wonder whether or not you have e-mail where you could keep a paper trail of e-mails to this person letting them know how you and your team feel. Otherwise I would definitely refrain from using adjectives such as sad, etc. Instead I would simply state the facts. I.E. recently I came to you with suggestions that in my opinion were ignored. I would hope that we could sit down and speak of the following issues:
1. My staff and I feel that """"""""
2. In the future we would like """""""
It is not my intent to upset anyone or come across in a disrespectful manner, however my intentions are for the betterment of this Company.
Respectfully,
""""""

If you feel this way, maybe the best thing to do is to take your work elsewhere.
