ACEO (Art Cards Editions and Originals) - a miniature piece of art measuring 2.5” x 3.5,” or the same size as a baseball card. Anyone from beginners to popular artists create ACEOs using a variety of mediums and styles and you find them in the thousands on eBay. These mini art cards are designed to collect and/or trade, they're affordable and addictive. They will fit in any standard size trading card album and are also ideal for framing.

There are a lot of great cheap art and craft items on etsy also. There is a lot of fine art on there.

One of the best sources for cheap (original) art is student work. Find out about exhibitions that a university nearby holds, such as a student juried show. Sometimes students also have the opportunity to put together a solo show before they graduate. You can find lots of quality work from ceramics to painting for much, MUCH less than buying from a gallery.

Amy Brown. Her work is BRILLIANT. She has many sites with her fairy photos and yes, I do admit, I am quite fond of fairies! You can visit her site for her own exclusive artwork..
