That's what bail is. If you are able to make bail they will release you until you are sentenced. If you cannot make bail you will remain in jail until you are released. If you cannot afford bail, you can go to a bail bondsman. They will post for you. But if you run they will send a bounty hunter after you.

Yes, if you are unable to bail yourself out or for some reason, there is no bail, which can be in your arrest warrant or the judge may decide as such at a bail hearing.
