hey there,

Dont worry about that stuff, put ur best foot forward and keep on trucking... u have NO idea how many kids go thru this around the world, its normal.. its stress from school, its losing a loved on, its alot due to hormones.. being clinically depressed cannot be answered here.. being depressed isnt feeling shitty... its loss of motivation, no sleep, loss of concentration, loss of communication... a depressed person usually will sit and do nothing, will not want to do anything and will not try to do anything because they feel like there is no hope in the world... i dont think ur depressed... ur just going through highschool blues, everyone does just to different degrees... what i recommend is making new friends, join a team, a club... ur highschool years are gonna be the funnest, remember my words when u graduate. im in college and got the same thing.. college blues... well i got over it and now am having a blast! hope you find your sunshine soon... its out there... dont try running after it.. let it surprise you and shine on you. make friends tho. dont hang on to the past.. the past is over and all u have left are memories where as the present is where u are making memories, and dont u want to fun have now to enjoy ur future and be able to look back to ur past and say: damn... i had a good life..

it's hard being a teenager sometimes but look at the bright side you have your whole life ahead of you . you can make the best of it. there will be many new friends and troubles and good times along the way. just take things one at a time and don't get stressed out if you feel out of control cause of pressures talk with your parents or a guidence con. at school. i have been in your situation before i am 25 and i made it through and i know you can do it too!!! best of luck to you sweetie hang in there!!!!

Hormones, hormones, hormones! Seriously, that is mainly what it is. Enjoy your time in high school, it can be a great time to express yourself, learn a lot, meet new people and figure out what you want to do in the future.

Are you active in anything? Sports, clubs, etc.? That really helps to get you involved in something new and different.

Learn to try to control your thoughts. Eat healthy, this makes moods less severe. Limit sugar, cafeine, fats. Drink lots of water. Get plenty of rest too, teens need more sleep than older adults do.

im 18, and i used to be the same, getting stressed over grades and stuff, but its just a phase i guess, these things barely effect me now. grades during your freshman year dont matter much, only your junior and senior year grades matter to get you into a university. i had a 2.2 in my freshman year, 1.23 in my sophmore, then a 3.37 in junior and a 3.7 i n my senior year, and i got into uc davis, berkeley and sac state,

and i just graduated from high school and im away from all the people i talked and hung out with the ones i thought were going to last a life time, youll meet much better friends after high school.

most teenagers feel this, i know i did last year. and most people just fake their way through it, fake a smile and force a laugh. it'll pass dont worry. if it doesnt then go talk to sum1 but most people get over it. then uv got the dark, goth kids like me and my friends who dont, but we hav each other and its ok. depression can b a b***h so dont let it get too far so u r thinking of doin bad things to urself or others but giv it a bit more time and see if it passes.

I don't think depression has an age limit. I remember in high school I cried a lot too. I would ask your parents to let you talk to a therapist of some kind. If you don't want to ask them, see the school counselor. They are trained in that stuff and can help you.

i think its normal that we feel depress sometimes because of lots of problems that surround us. but its not normal that you always feel those embarrassing feelings. you should take a deep breath and open your eyes wide to free your self on these feelings. try to relax, go to your old buddies and watch movies with them. you must not always stick with your friend that you claim your bestfriend.try to spread your network of friends.i also felt these feelings when iam a teenager.but i overcome it.thats what you can do for your self.
