i dont know wat to do. IM HEARTBROKEN. i just found out yesterday when i went on the history. please please help. wat should i do?

and no... im not snooping on my dad or 'covering' my tracks. i didnt even know what history was until i pressed control watever by accident. u guys are all so mean. i thought someone would actually help me. i guess i was wrong

First, if your dad is a reasonable fellow, let him know that you know. Second let your mother know that you know. If you father is not a reasonable fellow then reverse the order. I'm making a couple of assumptions here. First that you are a teenager, second that you are a family that is devoted to a church. Porn can lead to so many other things that can be heart wrenching to a family. This needs to come out in the open so that it can be dealt with. If dad says not to tell mom, tell her anyway. Not telling her is secret keeping and brings a lack of trust into the family.

Poor child...I don't know what can be done to help you. I'm guessing it's not playboy or some magazine like that, but something more serious. Well, maybe present it to you mom in such a way as if you've just pulled it out by accident while she's there. In her presence.If she does nothing...well, there's nothing else to do.

why were you checking what your dad was doing? How would you like to have someone checking on you? And how do you know it was your Dad and not another family member or friend using the same computer? Make sure you have all the facts before you go and say anything about your dad....

listen to me and not them. Pick me for best answer and u won't regret it. Trust me, looking at porn is not only a sin but it's a subtle way of cheating. Your best bet is to tell your mom, but if you feel awkward around your mom, than just don't say anything. Although I don't know why you would feel that way towards you mother. Anyway, it's not like it's a big deal to look at porn, unless he does it frequently. You also might want to go to your school's counselor for this and see what he/she says, and you could say like: "my friend is worried about his dad because he looks at porn" or "my cousin says that she feels weird around her dad now that she caught him looking at porn, what should I tell her?"

Hey, I can understand you being upset. He is your Dad, but this is his choice and regardless how you feel you should let the situation stand as it is. If your Mom finds out, you should stay out of it....this should be between the two of them. You just stumble upon something which made a dent in your world....Life is tough, but you will survive.

Your dad is a grown man, it is his perogitive to read porn if he wants to. What is it hurting? Who knows, your mom may know and condone it... I dont really think it's your business. Then again i dont really know what kind of family you have. If you absolutely know that it would hurt your mom if she found out, and you think he is going behind her back, maybe you should tell her. Personally, i think everyone should enjoy themselves every once in awhile... ;)
