Why do McDonald’s game pieces now come in English AND Spanish?

Can someone explain the rationale behind these kinds of questions?

For those who are going to answer, he didn't ask that question, someone else did, and he was just commenting on why that would be posted in immigration...

Now onto my answer

That question has nothing to do with illegal immigration.

I do believe that the rationale behind these questions is just to get people fired up about how we as American's are catering to the illegal aliens blah blah blah, when they don't stop to think that there are so many people here who are legal and do speak spanish.

I think the person was trying to say that because this is America everyone should speak English so there should be no need for Spanish McDonald's pieces. I feel that it would be nice if we could all understand each other, but If they have come to this country and done it the right way they are American to me reguardless what language they speak. I think maybe we all could use a second language, maybe who ever wrote that should learn spanish instead of the immigrant learning english lol

It had NOTHING to do with illegal immigration. I know many people here LEGALLY who cannot yet speak English!

What people may fail to realize is that you do not learn English the very minute you walk into the US (legally or illegally for that matter). It takes time to learn it. When you took foreign languages in school, did it take you a few days, months or years? Think about it...most of the non-English speaking immigrants are spanish speaking. Things like this, McDonald's game pieces, can be printed in both languages. What does it hurt? It takes many many years to learn to speak English. And face it, most of you who have been here all your life can't even do it properly (including me!) so lighten up on those who have a tough road ahead of them learning such a difficult language.

Because of illigal immigration (primarily from the southern border) many Spanish-speaking people have entered the country and have assimilated as well as brought their own traditions and language and blended with American society... Now McDonalds game pieces, in an attempt to reach a wider audience, come in both English and Spanish.... How's that?

Many illegal immigrants speak only Spanish, causing even McDonald's game pieces to be produced on a bilingual basis.

Because McDonald's is SHAMELESSLY catering to illegal aliens because the hire a lot of them. ICE should start doing raids on McDonald's hired help.

if black people go back and bring up their former language and forced it on the American economy to lay out a bunch of money to use it it would have been done too just like there is no money left to go to mc donalds with that, that isn't tainted with the mirth of all this, isn't it real humorous that it is big brothers love as a steering committee from hell again

It has nothing to do with illegal immigrants at all. In fact, in Canada their advertisements are in English and in French. Does this mean the French are illegal immigrants in Canada?

Cuz there are many US citizens who rather read in Spanish than English.
