yes, its an oxymoron. that is why the jews who followed jesus way back in old times became christians and stopped being jews - because you can't be a jew while holding a belief that is incompatible with the most fundamental doctrine of judaism - which is that G-d is an absolute, indivisible unity.

other similar oxymorons are:
- jews-for-krishna
- christians- for-muhammed
- christians-not-for-christ

No, it isn't.
Jews for Jesus is an organization whose mission is to spread the Gospel. The Jewish faith doesn't believe that Jesus is the Messiah. Members of Jews for Jesus have realized the truth of the matter- that Jesus is indeed the true Messiah, and accepted Him as Lord. The Jewish faith doesn't, and is still waiting for their messiah.

an oxymoron would be military intelligence

Guess who was a Jew for Jesus? All the Apostles plus Paul.A bunch of the Sanhedrin and Pharisees, not too mention many Levitical priests.Yes they are Christians but they never stop being Jews.
How about the thousands who converted at Pentecost in Acts.etc....Plus all the Jews that recognize Him as their Messiah today.

Some Jews become Hebrew Christians, but others wish to remain observant Jews and serve Jesus. We are still working that one out.

No because the 12 apostles were Jews for Jesus.

But, the Association of Hebrew Catholics is the best one for Jews who want to become Christians but keep their cultural identity.

they call themselves that because their faith teaches them that the end of the world will only come (and eventually peace) if every Jew is converted to Christianity. It's an organization created with the sole purpose of converting Jews. Yes, it's an oxymoron.
It's also propaganda for their own cause.

Not at all, I know quite a few. Since Judaism isnt based on denying Jesus but on the Torah and awaiting the Messiah, Jews for Jesus do the same thing except they accept their Messiah.

Not at all, actually Yeshuah (Jesus) was born jewish, had a bris, studied Torah, ate kosher etc. In fact all the first diciples were jews!

So you see, Jews for Jesus has existed for 2000 years, and still does.

No, they would have to be contradictory terms.

The Nation of Islam certainly believes in Moses. The three religions are tied together through Abraham.

A Muslim for Moses is not an oxymoron.
